Trained, professional and experienced.

After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in History and French (UCL, Sorbonne) and a
Master’s degree in European Public Policy, I spent ten years working in Paris in a
range of multilingual, multicultural roles, including at the British Embassy and as
office manager for a Franco-American software company specialised in open-source
software for safety-critical and mission-critical systems.

In 2010, I obtained my Diploma in Translation from the Institute of Linguists and
moved to the south of France, where I have been a full-time freelance translator
since, specialising in legal translation.

My work has brought me into contact with clients operating in a broad range of
sectors, including energy & environment, banking & insurance, defence, IT, scientific
research, professional training, health and higher education. This diversity has
enabled me to develop a high level of terminological proficiency and to provide
reliable, natural translations tailored to each field.

I teach classes in translation and English grammar at the University of Avignon.
